This shed was cladded with heatguard polycarbonate sheeting on the roof. This cladding is becoming particularly popular since more natural light can penetrate through the cladding into the shed. The sheeting is also designed to limit a build-up of heat in the hotter of weather. As a result, many of the benefits include increased fertility rates, thermally insulated, excellent heat reduction, high light transmission, great energy savings and improves animal welfare.
A good number of clear lights were also fitted to the gables to ensure good lighting throughout the building. A raised ridge cap was also fitted for ventilation purposes.
This shed was then fitted with huesker climate control custom made roll-up curtains. These curtains are made with heavy duty weather and wind protection nets which allow for fantastic ventilation due to the fresh air being able to flow throughout the shed. In turn this makes the environmental conditions for the animals much better. These were supplied and fitted by Northern Farm Supplies Ltd (079 2790 5150)
